Created on the day the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Chanee channeled her rage, anxiety and disappointment into this piece. 'Dissent' is an artistic departure - her normally calm and muted hues are replaced with layers of dark olive, charcoal and ochre hues with chaotic dye movements.

European hemp remnants dyed, cut, and stitched together. Then layered on a birch wood panel. Textile Art Dimensions: 21 1/4" x 33"

Set in a white wood float frame with a matte finish and 1/4" gap. 

Frame Dimensions: 23" x 34 1/2", approximately. Depth: 2". Frame constructed in Ohio, USA. Mounting hardware included.
